1. About Vybz
Vybz is an event discovery, booking and digital ticketing platform. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the Vybz app, website and related services.
2. Information we may collect
Depending on how you use Vybz, we may process account and contact information such as your name, email address and phone number; ticket-holder details such as full name and Instagram username where requested for an event; booking and ticket information; event-policy acceptances; device push-notification tokens; check-in records; support communications; and technical or security records needed to operate and protect the service.
3. Payments
Payments may be processed by an authorized third-party payment provider. Vybz should not store full payment-card details. We may receive payment status, transaction identifiers, amounts, refund information and other records needed to reconcile a booking.
4. How we use information
We use information to create and secure accounts, process bookings, issue and validate tickets, communicate event or service updates, provide support, prevent fraud or ticket misuse, maintain audit and security records, improve the service and comply with legal obligations.
5. Organizers and service providers
Information necessary to operate an event or honor a booking may be shared with the relevant event organizer, venue or authorized operational provider. We may also use infrastructure, communications, payment and other service providers that process information on our behalf or as independent controllers under their own terms.
6. Notifications
If you enable push notifications, Vybz may use a device token to send booking, ticket, event and service notifications. You can control notification permissions through your device settings.
7. Retention and security
We aim to keep personal information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, including operational, accounting, dispute, fraud-prevention and legal requirements. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no system can guarantee absolute security.
8. Your choices and rights
You may request access, correction or deletion of eligible personal information, subject to legal and operational retention requirements. Account deletion may also be available from within the app. Contact us if you need assistance.
9. Children
Some events may have age restrictions. Vybz is not intended to override organizer, venue or legal age requirements. Event-specific restrictions should be reviewed before booking.
10. Changes
We may update this policy as the service changes. The current version will be posted on this page with its effective date.
